    RK-NG02
    POLY102Polyrhachis (Chariomyrma) nr scutulata
    nr. mucronata
POLY103These are very interesting specimens. With their finely sculptured head and body they resemble mucronata, however, the petiolar spines in that species are rather short. The long and rather massive petiolar spines in your specimens resemble those in bismarckensis Forel, but in that species the head and body are rather coarsely sculptured, distinctly reticulate-punctate. These specimens represent a new species that stands just between those two (RK2010).
    nr. alphea
POLY104RK-NG04 Quite different from typical alphea. With its rather broad mesosoma and distinctly larger size, I believe it to be a different and probably undescribed species close to alphea (RK2010).
    variolosa
POLY105Considered by Bolton (1975) as junior synonym of P. bubastes, however, I believe it to be a good species (RK2010). Emery
